This two volume set is an informative and well written archaeological, historical and ethnological study of the famous Angel Mound Site located in Newburgh, Indiana on the Ohio River. The Angel Site in southern Indiana rivals Cahokia Mounds in size and importance. The books author, Glenn Black, is regarded as one of the foremost archaeologist of his time. This volume is a very collectable item and a great addition to any collector’s library. The protective sleeve has stains and a musty odor but the books are in very good condition.
